Add After School Activity (ASA) in PowerSchool
- All staff are required to offer an ASA in person or virtually.
- Enter your After School Activity into PS directly.
- You can watch the video below for those directions.
- When you are entering your ASA, please put your exact location on campus or your Zoom link in the “Location” field.
- The indoor gym will be available for some non-contact sports but outdoor venues are preferred. Masks must be worn at all times.
- For on-campus activities, there is a maximum of 20 students per ASA.
- ASAs will take place on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday each week.
- ASA times are as follows:
- ES: 2:30-3:15pm
- MS/HS: 2:45-3:30
- A later session can be added from 3:30-4:15pm as needed (in order to allow students in Service Learning programs to be involved in a sports ASA, for example).
- Only one teacher per ASA. If you need additional help, we can assign a teaching assistant to help with your activity.
- Please ensure that your ASA falls under one of the following: Arts, Sports, STEM, or Service Learning.
- If you have a Service Learning (SL) activity that has been running all year, we can copy over your information from Session 1 AND add your current students to your roster. Please send an email if you would like us to add your SL activity. Just provide us with the day/time/location.
- Make sure you do not schedule your ASA on a day when you normally have staff or grade level meetings after school.
